Watch Mass Online

Pray along with Daily TV Mass, with a new celebration available each day.

When you cannot be at church, join in prayer with the Daily TV Mass community. The National Catholic Broadcasting Council shares a new Mass each day. The player below follows their daily Mass and rosary playlist.

How to watch

  1. On this page

Press play in the video above. A new Mass is available each day, so you can pray at a time that suits you. If you have left this page open overnight, refresh it to load the updated playlist.

  2. On YouTube

Visit the Daily TV Mass channel for daily celebrations and earlier recordings. Subscribe if you would like YouTube to notify you of new videos.

  3. On a television

Open the YouTube app on your smart TV, Apple TV, Roku or Chromecast and search for “Daily TV Mass.” Choose the Mass for the day and press play.

Praying along at home

Set the room up as you would a pew: sit up, put the phone away, light a candle if you can. Say the responses out loud. The readings for the day are at Living with Christ. At Communion, when you cannot receive, pray the Act of Spiritual Communion:

My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

Act of Spiritual Communion, St. Alphonsus Liguori

If you are unable to come to church for a long period, please tell the office: a Lay Pastoral Visitor can bring Holy Communion to your home each week.

Questions

What if the video will not play?

Use the “Watch today's Mass” button to open the broadcaster's website, or watch directly on their YouTube channel. If a video is waiting to premiere, an earlier Mass is available there.

Is this a broadcast from St. Columba?

This is Daily TV Mass from the National Catholic Broadcasting Council. For celebrations in our church, see our parish Mass schedule.

Does watching online fulfil the Sunday obligation?

The Sunday obligation is to take part in Mass in person. Those who are sick, caring for the sick, or otherwise unable to attend are excused. Online Mass is a way to join in prayer when you cannot be present.
